School fees

At The King Alfred School, all parents must pay a £250 registration fee per child if a place is successfully offered. This fee reserves a place in our school. Failure to reserve a place in time will result in an applicant’s place being offered to another student on the waiting list.

1^st Sept, 1^st Dec, 1^st March, 1^st June

£3,535 per quarter

The single annual payment option has no administration charge.

Both annual payers and standing orders payers receive a discount for having two or more children at the school at once.

Other Discounts: Children of Christian Ministers and Forces families please contact school to apply for a discount.

We kindly ask parents to ensure that fees are paid promptly. Reference fees with SF plus child’s name.

Bursary Support

We think excellent education should be affordable; that’s why our fees are a third of the price of the average private school in our country. However, we recognise that some may need support meeting these costs and so for that reason, we may be able to offer support via a means tested bursary and scholarship fund. Please contact the school office for details of the third party that can be used to support you on these matters.
